superclean survivor: a 1971 Swiss made Bucherer Chronometer day and date men's automatic wristwatch with a new old stock stainless steel case and two-piece JB Champion leather strap. The handsome original bronze dial has patina and features gold bar indices, gold hour and minute hands, day and date windows, and a gold center second hand, and the words Bucherer, Officially Certified Chronometer, and Swiss Made. The engine is a very clean Swiss 21 jewel ETA 2728 automatic operating at 28,800 oscillations per hour, the first ETA to reach that high beat. The watch power reserve is listed as 42 hours. The watch date function has been repaired, the watch inspected and oiled. The watch winds, sets and operates well, and keeps excellent time. The day and quick date windows work well. The movement has been recased in a non-Bucherer, Swiss-made spotless stainless steel tonneau case, measuring 39.55mm wide including a star
